Kenzo Takada opened in Paris in 1970 and flooded the city with print, jungle and joy. The house is great at that clash of Tokyo and Paris. Fun fact: Takada’s first Paris shop was called Jungle Jap, a name that would never fly now but signaled the print explosion to come.
