FabLab
This is the honest version. If you use FabLab, you should know where the photo goes, who can see it, and what we cannot promise.
01 · Fabologist never holds the file
People who run Fabologist do not get your photo. It is not written to the same server this shop runs on. There is no staff gallery, no backup of your face, no “uploads” directory we can open later. Your original shot lives in this browser session only, so the changing room can reuse it. End the session, wait five minutes idle, or close the tab, and we drop it here.
02 · The try-on
When you tap FabLab, that photo and the product picture are sent to xAI Imagine (Grok Imagine Image 2.0). That is the model that puts the garment on you. Your original shot stays a data image in this browser — drag it and the address starts with data:image/jpeg;base64. The layered look that comes back is hosted by xAI. Drag that one and you will see imgen.x.ai (or another xAI host). We show that picture in the changing room. We do not copy it onto Fabologist.
03 · What we cannot promise
We do not control their disks, their staff, or their clock. They have not published one public lifetime for Imagine edit URLs. Their own file tools allow public image links from one hour up to 30 days. Treat an imgen link as temporary, not a private vault. If you would not send someone the link, do not copy it. End, five minutes idle, or closing the tab drops the pose and the looks from this browser. It does not delete xAI’s copy of the layered image.
And this part needs to be said out loud: any time a photo is processed by a third party, someone with access to that system could keep a copy. We have no way to watch that, audit it, or stop it. Stuff happens. Files get dumped. Years later something turns up on a site nobody expected. That is not how this is supposed to work, and it is not something Fabologist can prevent after the image has left for Imagine. If that risk is too high for you, do not upload a photo.
For what xAI says they do with data, read their privacy policy. We cannot delete their copy from this site.

FabLab is for adults. A standing, full-length photo works best. If a look misses, tap FabLab again and we will remake it.
