Crocs launched the clog in 2002 out of a foam-boat-shoe idea. It is great at ugly comfort that won. The Classic Clog is the whole thesis. Fun fact: the foam (Croslite) started as a nautical material; fashion only forgave the shoe after celebrities and Jibbitz charms made it a canvas.
