Alexander Wang

Alexander Wang launched in New York in 2005 and became the downtown uniform of the late 2000s: slouchy tees, draped dresses, and later Balenciaga (he designed the house 2012–2015). Great at cool-girl sportswear luxury. The slouchy tank-and-ankle-boot look was the first big wave. Fun fact: Wang was one of the youngest designers to take a Paris house while still running his own label.
