Clarks

C. & J. Clark began in Street, Somerset, in 1825 as a Quaker shoemaking family. It is great at comfortable, slightly quirky British shoes. The Desert Boot (inspired by Cairo bazaar boots after WWII) and the Wallabee are the icons. Fun fact: Jamaican rude-boy and later Jamaican-British culture adopted Clarks so hard that the Wallabee became a reggae and jungle staple.
