David Yurman founded his jewelry house in New York in 1980 with cable jewelry as the signature. It is great at that twisted-metal bracelet that reads rich without stones. Fun fact: the cable motif came out of sculpture; Yurman trained as an artist before becoming a jewelry industrialist.
